AC (Architectural Concrete) with corrugated steel bars (AC) for the formation of industrialized construction systems.

In PREHORQUISA we are specialists in the production of architectural concrete precast, offering our clients different systems.

Among others, we highlight:

  • Self-supporting panel of Reinforced Concrete (HA)
  • Self-supporting panel of Reinforced Concrete with continuous insulation
  • Reinforced concrete load-bearing panel
  • Reinforced concrete load-bearing panel with continuous insulation
  • Reinforced concrete panel with natural stone cladding*
  • Reinforced concrete panel with embedments (brick, glass …)
  • Graderíos, stairs, urban elements…

Any design in prefabricated Reinforced Concrete, three-dimensional systems, …

The dimensions of the panels of these systems are very variable adapting to the needs of each project. As a reference we can talk about optimal dimensions of 9,000×3,000mm in 100mm thickness but it is always advisable to consult with our Technical Department. The weight of the panels is proportional to the thickness of these, varying in a general way between 250 kg/m2 and 400 kg/m2.

Reinforced Concrete type facades

Solid Panel of Armed Concrete

Reinforced concrete panel for the formation of the main sheet of the façade, will require a full backing and insulation.

Thicknesses: 80-100-120-140-… mm (according to design and calculation)

Concrete HA-35 (C35 / 45) armed with corrugated steel B500SD.

AC Panel with continuous insulation

Panel formed by reinforced concrete outer layer, intermediate layer of continuous insulation with fiberglass connectors and inner layer of reinforced concrete. These panels may require an interior lining or not depending on the type of work.

Thickness: 80 / 50XPS / 100- … mm
(variable according to climatic zone and specific calculation)

Concrete HA-35 (C35 / 45) reinforced with corrugated steel B500SD and insulation of XPS extruded polystyrene sheets.

Process in precast Architectural concrete (AC)

Generally, the phases of the production process are as follows:

  • Development by our technicians of the precast project based on the instructions collected from the work, making exploded drawings, details of encounters and anchors, three-dimensional models, calculation memory…
  • Execution (based on agreed term) of the number of molds necessary for the consequence of the objective.
  • Introduction of the corresponding reinforcement (always double reinforcement), as well as the placement of anchoring elements, filling and vibrating of the concrete.
  • Removal of the prefabricated to the places of storage, where they will be given the final treatment, as well as the corresponding cosmetics.
  • On-site transport on supports that protect the precast panels.
  • Assembly with the help of auxiliary cranes for the handling of the precast.

Precast finishes Reinforced Concrete

The aesthetic characteristics of precast concrete are determined by two factors: tone or color and texture. These are achieved through a combination of the following factors:

  • CONCRETE: white or gray.
  • ADDITIVES, COLORANTS: pigments, water repellents, etc.
  • TYPE OF ARID: limestone, granitic, siliceous, macael, etc.
  • TEXTURE: smooth, embossed, embossed, ribbed, folded sheet metal or elastomeric matrices, photo-etched.
  • FINISHES: out of mold, sandblasting, micro-bush-hammering, acid washing, polishing, etc.

If you would like to receive our Technical Dossier AC with more complete information, our Graphic Dossier AC with details of the constructive system for the development of your projects, or Memory Grafica AC with the Description of the Production Process that contains photographs of all the phases of the system can be requested by putting in contact with us

Note: We do not have standard products or solutions, because our way of working is based on adapting to the requirements and needs of each specific project, so it will always be necessary a specific study of each project and a fluid relationship with designers and technicians for the development of each work.
