King Felipe VI and the President of Spain, Pedro Sánchez, participated in the inauguration of the new Airbus Campus in Getafe, Campus Futura, being the third largest European aerospace facility.
Prehorquisa is proud of its participation in this great project, providing the precast concrete panels for façade enclosures with a pattern design and vertical slats, what were used both as an architectural resource and sun protection.
We were able to collaborate since the initial phases of the project with Estudio Lamela and ENAR, as façade consultants, achieving the best off-site construction solutions with industrialized elements, the highest quality in the shortest time, as well as the total certainty regarding the economic control of the project.
We would like to thank the FCC team for the trust deposited in us in such important project.
We would like to highlight the execution of the most iconic wall in the Campus, using precast panels in both outside and inside. In words of Mateo Marcos, of ENAR, in a recent interview:
“But the most difficult thing to design and build was the wall that incorporates the AIRBUS logo, which is manifested on both interior and exterior faces with textured shaved precast concrete panels. A feat of coordination and installation of the company PREHORQUISA together with FCC to materialize the most representative point of the set.”
The precast concrete panels with bush-hammered treatment, 12cm thick + 7cm of pattern custom designed for this project, are combined with smooth panels and slats of 6m high and 60cm x 12cm section.
